  WATCHTOWER JAN 2025: WHY IS THE WATCHTOWER OBSESSED WITH THE RANSOM?

  the first watchtower for 2025 is out, and immediately, articles 4 and 5 drew my attention.

  these will be studied near the memorial season, a time the witnesses prepare for their yearly commemoration of jesus’ death, i will be returning on this articles near at the time.

  The Borg is a privilege heavy organization.

  The more you 'do' the more you're 'seen'.

  The more you're 'seen' the more you 'do'.

  The more you're 'seen' & ' doing' the more friends & 'fringe benefits' you get.

  I think the Borg likes to wield this control over the members.

  Its a system of 'free labor'. Perfect business model.

  i am looking for any information given to elders during the early to mid 1960s on how to deal with child sexual abuse within the congregation.

  .

  it could be in letters or in some version of an elder's handbook or a letter to the elders that specifies how elder were to deal with the issue of sexual abuse within the congregation; not going to elders, silence about the issue, how to handle it with the minor and the accused.. if there was any direction to the elders that precedes this time period that would work too..

  Loss of a Jehovah’s Witness who I considered a friend

  i have known a jehovah’s witness for approximately 15 years and i have considered her a friend although i know that jehovah’s witnesses cannot have friends who are not jehovah’s witnesses.

  approximately two years ago, i was going through a very difficult time and i asked my friend if we could have bible study.

  she said yes and we have been studying the bible since.
